Our Philosophy

EquiPulse is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you, stays with you, and is never shared with anyone — including us.

We do not operate servers that store your horse records, health data, or any other information you enter into the app. There are no user accounts, no analytics trackers, no advertising identifiers, and no telemetry of any kind.

What Data We Do Not Collect

EquiPulse does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on our servers:

  • Horse profiles, health records, or medical history
  • Journal entries, training logs, or feeding schedules
  • Vaccination records or veterinary appointment details
  • Expense or financial data
  • Contact information for vets, farriers, or other professionals
  • Photos or images you attach to profiles or journal entries
  • Your name, email address, or any identifying information
  • Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports sent to 6tSevn
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

Local Data Storage

All data you enter into EquiPulse — horse profiles, health records, vaccinations, vet appointments, journal entries, training logs, expenses, feed schedules, and contacts — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework within the app's sandboxed container. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync (see below).

iCloud Sync (Optional — Premium Feature)

If you choose to enable iCloud Sync (available with an EquiPulse Premium subscription), your data is synchronised across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit framework.

  • 6tSevn BV has no access to your iCloud data at any time.
  • Your data resides exclusively in your personal Apple iCloud account.
  • Apple's iCloud privacy terms govern this synchronisation. You can review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
  • You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in the app's Settings. Disabling sync does not delete data already synced to iCloud; you can manage that through your device's iCloud settings.

Camera and Photo Library

EquiPulse may request access to your camera and photo library so you can:

  • Add profile photos to horse records
  • Attach photos to journal entries

Photos you select are stored locally within the app's storage. They are not uploaded to any server operated by 6tSevn. If iCloud Sync is enabled, photos may be included in your personal iCloud backup via Apple's CloudKit — again, 6tSevn has no access to this data.

You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security on your iPhone.

Notifications

EquiPulse generates reminders for upcoming vaccinations and veterinary appointments. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's UserNotifications framework. They are never routed through external servers or third-party push notification services.

You can manage notification preferences within the app under Settings → Notifications, or through Settings → Notifications → EquiPulse on your iPhone.

Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)

EquiPulse offers optional biometric authentication to protect your data. Authentication is handled entirely through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device.

EquiPulse never receives, stores, or processes your biometric data. Face ID and Touch ID credentials never leave your device.

Apple Watch Companion App

The EquiPulse Watch app displays a summary of your horse data and today's agenda on your Apple Watch. Data is transferred between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework, which communicates directly between your paired devices. This data transfer does not pass through 6tSevn servers.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

EquiPulse offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly and yearly). All purchases are processed entirely by Apple via the StoreKit framework. 6tSevn does not receive or store your payment card details or purchase history. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple according to their terms.

Your Data Control

You are in full control of your data at all times:

  • Delete individual records at any time within the app.
  • Delete all data by removing the app from your device.
  • Export your data via the PDF export features available in the app.

Uninstalling EquiPulse permanently removes all locally stored data from your device. If iCloud Sync was enabled, you can remove synced data through your iCloud account settings.

Children's Privacy

EquiPulse does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. As no personal data is collected by 6tSevn at all, the app is suitable for general use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
