Doekoe Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Doekoe ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Doekoe is a personal budget and expense tracking application. The App allows you to set budgets, track expenses, manage categories, set savings goals, and view spending trends. All data you enter is stored locally on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync.

3. Eligibility

Doekoe is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App, including any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

4. User Accounts

Doekoe does not require you to create an account. The App does not collect personal identification data such as your name, email address, or phone number. All financial data you enter is stored locally on your device.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Version

The free version of Doekoe provides core budgeting functionality including expense tracking, up to 5 categories, budget management, and recurring expense tracking.

5.2 Doekoe Pro (Auto-Renewable Subscription)

Doekoe Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks additional features:

  • Unlimited categories
  • Data export (PDF and CSV)
  • iCloud sync across devices
  • Spending trends and analytics
  • Savings goals

5.3 Subscription Plans and Pricing

Doekoe Pro is offered through the following auto-renewable subscription plans:

  • Doekoe Pro Monthly Subscription: 1 month duration at $2.99 USD per month
  • Doekoe Pro Yearly Subscription: 12 months duration at $9.99 USD per year ($0.83 USD per month)

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App. Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change.

5.4 Billing and Renewal

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or through the Manage Subscription option in the App's settings.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. 6tSevn BV does not process refunds directly.

6. Permitted Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as a personal budgeting and expense tracking tool. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the property of 6tSevn BV and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the 6tSevn or Doekoe trademarks or branding.

8. Data and Privacy

8.1 Local Storage

All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No personal or financial data is transmitted to 6tSevn BV or any third-party servers.

8.2 iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync (a Doekoe Pro feature), your data is stored in your personal iCloud account managed by Apple Inc. Only you have access to this data through your Apple ID.

8.3 No Analytics or Tracking

Doekoe does not collect analytics, usage data, or tracking information. No third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools are integrated into the App.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 No Financial Advice

Doekoe is a budgeting tool intended to help you track your personal spending. The App does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. Any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the App are your sole responsibility.

9.2 Data Accuracy

The accuracy of financial data in the App depends entirely on the information you enter. 6tSevn BV is not responsible for any inaccuracies in your data or any decisions made based on that data.

9.3 Warranty Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 6tSevn BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Any data loss resulting from device failure, software updates, or user error
  • Any unauthorized access to your data stored on your device or in iCloud

11. Data Loss

While the App stores data locally on your device and optionally in iCloud, 6tSevn BV is not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, accidental deletion, software updates, or any other cause. You are encouraged to regularly export your data using the export functionality available in Doekoe Pro.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. 6tSevn BV reserves the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. If the App is discontinued, any active subscriptions will not be renewed after the current billing period.

13. Changes to These Terms

6tSevn BV reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available through the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

15. Third-Party Services

The App uses only Apple-native frameworks and services (StoreKit, CloudKit, SwiftData, LocalAuthentication). No third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are used. Apple's own terms and privacy policies apply to Apple services used by the App.

16. Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

The following terms apply to your use of Doekoe in accordance with the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the Apple Developer Program License Agreement (Schedule 2). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall prevail with respect to matters governed by it.

16.1 Acknowledgement

This Agreement is between you and 6tSevn BV only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). 6tSevn BV, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Doekoe application ("Licensed Application") and its content.

16.2 Scope of License

6tSevn BV grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Doekoe on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license does not allow you to use Doekoe on a device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make Doekoe available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Licensed Application. If you sell your Apple device to a third party, you must remove the Licensed Application before doing so. Family Sharing or volume purchasing participants may use the Licensed Application in accordance with Apple's applicable terms.

16.3 Maintenance and Support

6tSevn BV is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to Doekoe, as specified in this Agreement or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to Doekoe.

16.4 Warranty

6tSevn BV is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Licensed Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be 6tSevn BV's sole responsibility.

16.5 Product Claims

6tSevn BV, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

16.6 Intellectual Property Rights

In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of the Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, 6tSevn BV, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

16.7 Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

16.8 Third-Party Terms of Agreement

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application, including Apple's Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

16.9 Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
